NSF Grant Funds Work Toward Improved Catalyst Designs

Chemical engineering professor and department chair William Epling and assistant professor of chemical engineering Chris Paolucci (co-PI) have received $422,695 from the National Science Foundation to investigate the performance of metal-exchanged zeolite catalyst materials under varying reaction conditions. Insights gained from the research should lead to better-designed catalysts used in myriad environmental applications – which is good for the planet.
