CICLEC has been selected as part of the initial cohort of UVA Research Hubs. Charles Machan (A&S) and Christopher Paolucci (SEAS) will serve as inaugural co-chairs. This designation will bring additional resources to the researchers of CICLEC.
The UVA Research Hubs are faculty-led communities designed to connect scholars across disciplines who share common research interests. Through regular collaboration, hubs:
- Foster new partnerships
- Develop competitive grant proposals
- Influence future funding priorities
- Engage with federal agencies, industry partners, and philanthropic organizations
The selected hubs represent a snapshot of areas where cross-disciplinary teams are currently poised to scale, within a much broader research ecosystem that includes all research and community-engaged scholarship at UVA.
